The concept was suggested by a friend, KC Salvador. The keyword “key” used for this poem, I just related the facts to the word she gave me. I think, if I remember correctly, this was she used to feel; she used to be un-open to the people around her.

What’s inside this
Dusty box you’re keeping?
Is there anything
You’re afraid to show?

Let me see what you’re grasping
Let me feel what you’re feeling

Open the sand-covered box
And set your soul free
That shimmering of golden
Identity you’ve been hiding

Don’t be afraid to show
Let them know who you really are
You’re beauty which lies within
That’s just the most important thing

Let go of the things you’re holding
Let them feel what they really should be feeling
Open the door to your soul
And forever, you’ll forever be alright.
