Crumpled Paper: Balloon

Now, I’m even crumpled than ever
And my crumpled paper heart
Is wearing off its color
I need to see her
I cannot live without her
Though it may not seem that way
When all I do is say.

This solitude is driving me crazy
I must find away to be happy
I wanna see her on the other side
I wanna be there when she’s not alright

I want it all to be back to normal,
I wanna fly again,
Because this balloon–
My artificial flight–
Can’t take me where I wanna be–

–with her.
