The Paper Man by Milo Manara
The Paper Man is about a traveling cowboy in search for his “love” by means of a picture. Along his journey, he meets several different characters including an English man, a captive Indian girl, a schizophrenic, who has certain “skills”, and a contrary Indian, who does everything in contrary.
Illustration: Milo Manara gives attention to drawing details in the scenes of his comics, especially to how he draws women, as opposed to drawing men. (Rating: 4 of 5)
Story: The overall story turns out good, although it has an unhappy ending. However, there was a lack of character developments in the story since most of the characters just appeared out of nowhere, having little to no explanations on where they came from. (Rating 3 of 5)
Overall: It’s okay.
